[Update] Upstream ISP Connectivity Issues

Network connectivity appears to have been restored. The cause has been determined to be a BGP routing leak originating from Verizon (Level 3) networks and one of their customers. The leak had impacted a large amount of traffic on the internet as the invalid routes propagated throughout internet routing tables.

SocketLabs utilizes multiple redundant Tier 1 internet service providers so we were not directly impacted, but any customers who route through Verizon (Level 3) networks may have experienced issues connecting or increased latency earlier today. At this time the issue appears to have been resolved and we will continue to monitor closely.

Upstream ISP Connectivity Issues

We have identified an issue with an external ISP outside of our networks, which is impacting Internet connectivity between some customer networks and SocketLabs. Customers may experience connection issues or increased latency while trying to access our platform from certain ISP's.
